Step 1 - The 'Watershed Delineation | Characterization | Peak Flows' dialog allows you to setup multiple watersheds for analysis. Click the top lefthand Watershed tool button, shown above, to begin a new process. The Project Point plotter button activates the mouse cursor, then the tolerance must be set in order to analyze accurate results.
Step 2 - The 'Generate Flow Report' dialog requires that you select a watershed delineated on the map and enter its identifying information, before a report web page can be generated. A Flow Report for each delineated watershed may be produced, following this process.
Step 3 - The 'Feature Editor' requires at least one watershed and flow path delineated on the map, before allowing the user to add or remove banks and cross-section (cutline) polylines. Press the corresponding buttons to begin (or resume) adding features. You must check the 'Select' box for each set of features you wish to commit for processing, or to remove entirely. Use the clear link to erase current lines not yet commited for processing.
Step 4 - The '3D Cross-Section Geoprocessor and SDF Converter' requires that you select a watershed from the dropdown list to correctly identify the watershed in which to perform the cross-section analysis. This is necessary for packaging of output DGN files in the next step. Be sure to verify the feature count of banks and cutlines to be processed; the feature count for watersheds and flow paths is just a total summation of each. Only one watershed of cross-section analyses is performed per execution of this tool. Download the analysis results from the link provided after tool execution.
Step 5 - The 'GIS to CAD' exporter tool allows you to export the watershed results to DGN_V8 format only. Be sure to wait for each download link to appear for all watersheds you have produced in the current task. To start over with the Watershed workflow, click the top lefthand Watershed tool button.
